Elvinology had our first ever kite flying session at Marina Barrage on the 13th of August!
It was a blast! 
Elvin Ng’s ghostly encounter
Celebrities continue to share their ghostly encounters!
Local actor Elvin Ng spent Christmas in San Francisco, USA last year. On the way back, he stopped by Bangkok and stayed briefly at a friend’s home.
On his return at New Year’s Eve, he and a friend took a short cut through a deserted backyard to get to the main road. Along the way, the strap on his backpack caught on a door and off-balanced Elvin was “pushed” into a pond.
Elvin twisted his elbow in the fall and had to bear with the pain while rushing for his plane. The injury took a month to recover.
After his return to Singapore, he was contacted by his Thai friend.
His friend’s maid had heard about Elvin’s fall, and wanted to ask him if he saw “the white figure”.
According to the maid, a white figure often appears in the backyard near the pond. She also hears weird noises at night and believes that spirits dwell in that backyard.
Elvin recounts another brush with the supernatural at Genting Highlands.
Many years ago, he stayed with a friend in a hotel room in Genting. When he was using the toilet, there were suddenly weird noises from outside the toilet door.
He dashed out of the toilet and saw the ceiling panel located between the toilet door and the main door, flapping open and close with a weird noise.
At that time, he thought there was a thief in the room, so he and his friend started shouting toward the ceiling panel. The louder they shouted, the faster the ceiling panel flapped open and close!
The two called the hotel reception and soon two security guards came to check.
When the two men saw the ceiling panel still opening and closing by itself, they murmured “Wind…” before scooting away as fast as they could!
Elvin says, “There wasn’t any wind and the curtains weren’t even moving!”
The two friends quickly moved to another room.

Dear Elves
It has been months since I last wrote to you
I feel bad about it
I have been busy adapting to a whole new work environment over here in KL and in Muar the past three months
And because I’ve been unsettled
I’m sorry I haven’t been able to properly sit down to write to you
It’s now only another month to go before I can go back to Singapore and my familiar lifestyle
I’m really thankful to have you do so many things for me
Voluntarily, willingly, unconditionally
So much time, effort and energy, way surpassing any sort of expectation
For a long time now
I’ve been wanting to say this:
“I’ve felt your love
And I really want to thank you for that”
Thank you for coming up to see me in Muar
I had a wonderful time with you
More importantly it has been how you have unfailingly showed up at all my events to shout for me and cheer me on that has really touched me
My only regret is that each time at events
I am not always able to afford you the time and attention that I would like to give you
And because of that
I may appear to be less appreciative or sincere or seem to take you for granted
But that has never been the case at all
Your presence has always been greatly felt
So I ask for your understanding on that
Indeed it has surprised me to see so active participation and so many familiar Elves’ faces at my events
I cannot stress how each and everyone of you plays a vital role in my growth and popularity in this industry
Thank you for your contribution
Of course to have my Elves out in full force each time at any of my events
Much credit has also to be given to the committee for their efficiency and organisation in coordinating and planning matters
They have done a really wonderful job in recent times
There have been some slight changes within the committee and I welcome the new members on board
I thank them first for their willingness and desire to want to actively do something for Elvinology and myself
Please continue to give the committee your support and cooperation
There may be times when they cannot please everyone or fall short
But please afford them some tolerance and understanding and know that they always act in the best interests of Elvinology and myself
For those who have moved on
I wish to say
That’s life
Sometimes people come and go
I am really grateful for all their contributions, whether actively or silently, and I will always remember them for what they have done for me
I wish them happiness and my best wishes in all their future endeavours
And they will be missed always
Elvinology has almost become synonymous with me
Whenever people mention me, Elvinology also comes to mind
This goes to show how successful we have been and your efforts have definitely been recognised
My Elves have appeared at events, in magazines and in newspapers just like myself
We have grown from strength to strength and come a long, long way from our “unknown” days =)
Thank you for making this possible
