Hihi Elves
Happy, Happy New Year! It’s been a really long time since I spoke to you and as this year draws to a close and we embark on a new year together, I just want to thank you for yet another year of unyielding love and support for me and I’m really grateful for what you have shown me yet again. It has been a really eventful year for us and I must say Elvinology has become one of, if not the most “seen and heard” fc around and the credit of course goes to you for “making so much noise” and “craving so much attention”. =) Everyone now knows I’m one of the best-supported artistes and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you behind me all these while. Like I said before, Elvinology has become inseparable from and synonymous with me and no thanks for stealing my limelight. =)
I had a really happy and wonderful gathering with you. Wished I could have squeezed out more time to get to know you all better but you understand that “a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do”, right? =) I hope my surprise outing to release the animals with you didn’t turn out to be a shock outing instead or an anti-climax because I saw lots of “huh?”s and ??? on your faces. Anyway, my apologies again for getting all of you soaked and drenched by the rain and I still feel really bad about it. It was good to see the same old faces keep coming back for more each year and I find myself asking what I have to offer that you are willing to do this for me and not get tired of me. Thank you for not deserting me and I will try my best each year not to disappoint you. It was also good to see many new faces blend in quickly to the huge family and all of you getting along well. It wasn’t an easy task remembering all your names but I think I did a pretty good job and I hope to see more of each of you too. For those who didn’t show up for the gathering, no more excuses next year and I expect to see you turn up, alright?
The gathering was of course made possible only by the dedicated and conscientious efforts of the now 6-person committee who ensured that we had quality close-up interaction and that everything was well-planned for. There was also not one event I attended this past year that I did not receive the boisterous support of my Elves and I sincerely thank my committee for facilitating them and definitely those of you who consistently found time to show up and give me your physical support. All said and done, no amount of “thank you”s can express my gratitude to you all enough and I will continue to work hard to repay your trust in me and love for me.
I must say that I have not seen Elvinology as united and cohesive as it is now. Less conflict and unhappiness, more cooperation, understanding and tolerance. Please continue to build friendship as we continue to grow together in this big Elvinology family. I’m off to my countdown soon and I’ll see more of you all next year, and you’ll also definitely see more of me, that’s for sure ok. Take care, god bless, be filled with love, peace and happiness… =)
