PHOTOS: The fanclub threw an impromptu lo hei session atop a member’s car outside MediaCorp last week

Where else better to hold an impromptu lo hei session with your favourite actor than atop the hood of one’s car? That was what local fanclub Elvinology did last Saturday when they decided to spring a mini surprise after work at MediaCorp.

After wrapping Unriddle 2 less than two weeks ago, Elvin will be diving straight into his new drama project, Absolutely Charming, this week. Members of the fanclub wanted to pre-celebrate ‘Ren Ri’ (the seventh day of the Lunar New Year believed to be the day when everyone grows one year older) with him and held a last-minute lo hei date with the actor.

Over a phone interview with xinmsn, fanclub president Audrey Huang shared that Elvin was heartened and tickled by their “mini Yusheng party”.

When xinmsn asked if there’s anything in particular that they hope for in 2012, Audrey replied, “We hope that Elvin can make a foray into the movie industry this year.”

Coincidentally, in a separate interview with Elvin during the imaging session for Ch8 drama series, Absolutely Charming, the 31-year-old also spoke of his desires to do a movie someday.

Keep your fingers crossed guys. According to Elvin, there are some movie opportunities out there now but the actor’s “waiting for a good chance and a good role” to come along for now.
